Carlos Carmona is an accomplished Music Producer and DJ who creates distinctive house music dubbed “Papa Beats”. Armed with his witty charm and soulfulness, Carlos blends his artistic flair into his musical work to deliver a perfect harmony that resonates with his audience. His music takes you into a world of soul-searching, playfulness, and discovery. With a love for music that knows no age limit, at 50 years, Carlos works hard in composing house music surrounded by his granddaughters who dance around, referring to his melodies as "Papa beats", thus his name inspiration.

Carlo’s musical journey is nothing short of inspiring. Growing up with a dad who was a bandleader for 35 years, he was surrounded by music and various musical instruments. Surprisingly, despite the exposure to several musical instruments, he still didn’t take a liking to any instrument. It wasn’t until he saw a DJ with two turntables and a mixer at a neighbor’s birthday party that he finally discovered his musical niche, DJing. His affinity for DJing was ignited and nurtured from a tender age. At 13 years, Carlos kicked off his musical career, working as a DJ all over Bay Area during his dad’s band breaks. By 21 years, he had started producing music professionally in addition to his Djing career. For the next decade, Carlos was a full-time DJ, club promoter, and music producer. 

Carlo’s love for music and the nightlife led him to venture into entrepreneurship, launching a string of nine successful nightclubs, a business he ran for the next 15 years. Unfortunately, Covid -19 struck in 2020, resulting in the closure of all the clubs. His business endeavor may have taken him away from DJing, but his love for music and the mixer lingered on.

Dusting off the pandemic’s unfortunate outcome, Carlos devised another plan to keep his DJ career going. With an old keyboard, he ventured into creating house music to keep his dream alive. With an unrelenting spirit and youthful vigor, he continues to validate his spot in the musical arena. Carlos’ Papa Beats is a befitting tribute to his love for music.
